Why Homoeopathy?
An ancient science validated by modern research — safe, effective, and government-recognised.
What is Homoeopathy?
Homoeopathy is a system of medicine founded in 1796 by German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Based on the principle of "Similia Similibus Curentur" — Let Likes be Cured by Likes — it uses highly diluted natural substances to trigger the body's own healing mechanisms.
Unlike conventional medicine, which primarily focuses on suppressing symptoms, Homoeopathy treats the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. Every prescription is individualised to the patient's unique constitution, making it one of the most personalised forms of medicine in the world.
Over 200 years of clinical practice and a growing body of modern research continue to validate Homoeopathy's effectiveness — particularly in chronic, hormonal, and lifestyle-related conditions that often resist conventional treatment.
Founded in 1796 by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann
The word 'Homoeopathy' comes from the Greek: homoeos (similar) + pathos (suffering).

The Four Core Principles
Homoeopathy is built on timeless principles that guide every prescription Dr. Paul makes.
Law of Similars
Similia Similibus Curentur
A substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can cure similar symptoms in a sick person. This is the foundational law of Homoeopathy, first described by Dr. Hahnemann.
Minimum Dose
Minimum Potency Principle
The smallest possible dose is used to stimulate the body's healing response. Homoeopathic medicines are highly diluted, making them free of toxic side effects.
Single Remedy
Simplex, Simillimum, Minimum
At any given time, a single, carefully chosen remedy is prescribed — the one that most closely matches the patient's complete symptom picture and constitution.
Treat the Whole Person
Totality of Symptoms
The patient is treated as a whole — considering physical symptoms, emotional state, lifestyle, and individual characteristics — never just isolated symptoms.
The highest ideal of cure is the rapid, gentle and permanent restoration of health.

Recognised by the Government of India
Homoeopathy is not alternative medicine — it is mainstream healthcare in India, backed by the government.
Ministry of AYUSH
Government of India
Homoeopathy is one of the five systems of medicine officially recognised and promoted by the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy) — a dedicated Ministry of the Government of India.
CCRH — Research Body
Central Council of Research in Homoeopathy
The CCRH, under the Ministry of AYUSH, is the apex body for conducting, coordinating, and promoting research in Homoeopathy. Dr. Joydeep Paul serves as a Research Fellow at CCRH.
National Health Policy
Included in India's Healthcare Framework
India's National Health Policy includes Homoeopathy as an integral part of the national healthcare system, with over 200,000 registered Homoeopathic physicians practising across the country.
